Bio

Melissa R Williams is a CEO, entrepreneurial coach, and motivational speaker based in Dallas, Texas.

She has experienced a lot of hardship over her life. At a young age, she lost her father in a car accident and was a survivor of sexual abuse. Melissa also grew up in a low-income neighbourhood in Chicago. Even though she had to overcome many challenges and obstacles, Melissa thrived in an educational environment. She was always passionate about reading and writing, and she was a high achiever in school.

On top of this, Melissa was active in a diverse variety of hobbies and activities. During her early education she received a number of honors and accolades, from being selected as a member of the National Junior Beta Club to becoming the Salutatorian of her class, to mention but two.

However, following school, Melissa had to overcome even more challenges, including homelessness and domestic violence. She came through the other side, stronger and even more determined to make a successful career and life for herself. She went on to pursue bachelor’s degrees in Education, Nursing, and Business.

In 2001, Melissa discovered her calling as a motivational speaker. Ever since embarking on her speaking career, she has spoken at prestigious events such as The Phenomenal “I AM” Women’s Conference, Educated Girls Rock, The Salvation Army, I am H.E.R. International Ministries, among many others.

Melissa is the founder and CEO of Recherche’ Enterprises, which is currently a multi-million dollar conglomerate of four flourishing corporations. Due to the fact that she has been a huge success story in her industry, Melissa has become an entrepreneurial coach and strategist to assist others in realizing their dreams.

In 2006, Melissa was ordained as a minister and she hasn’t looked back since! During her time as a minister, she has served in congregations in communities across Tennessee and Georgia. Recently, she was the Women’s Pastor with Life Church Dallas in Fort Worth Texas.

Melissa is no stranger to the limelight; she has been featured in the television show “Women on the Rise Atlanta” and been a recurring guest on Nashville’s 92Q FM. She was also the host for the 99.9 The Beat’s Workday Wind Down and has spoken alongside David Banner in his GodBox Lecture Series. If this wasn’t enough, Melissa is politically active and has served on several campaigns.

Even though she has achieved so much in her career, Melissa’s highlight is her six beautiful children, who inspire her every day.
